Social inequities are a serious challenge in combating HIV/AIDS. Its sad reality.
More awareness need to be done especially targeting African-American people of all age groups so that thay are aware of their realities and come up with strategies to keep themsleves safe, starting with safe sexual practices (condom promotion) and having themelselves tested for HIV regularly so that they know their statuses.
